AirshowWorld — Privacy Policy

🔒 Our core principle

AirshowWorld is built privacy-first. We do not collect, sell or share your personal data — there are no ads, no tracking and no analytics of any kind.

Data Not Collected. AirshowWorld does not collect any personal data from you. Your favourites and preferences stay on your device, with optional iCloud sync handled entirely by Apple.

💾 Where your data lives

All app content is stored on your device. The only optional cloud component is Apple's iCloud, which you control through your Apple ID.

On-device cache (SwiftData): airshows and team data are cached locally so the app works fast and offline.
Preferences (UserDefaults): your settings, such as the selected app icon, are stored locally on your device.
iCloud / CloudKit (optional): if you are signed in to iCloud, your favourites sync privately across your devices through your Apple ID. We never see this data.
Offline mode: when iCloud is unavailable, the app works fully with built-in sample data.

AirshowWorld connects to the internet only to load public content — never to send your personal information.

🛡️ Permissions we request

Calendar (write-only): used solely to add an airshow event to your calendar when you choose to. AirshowWorld never reads your existing calendar events.
Notifications: used only to deliver the optional 7-day reminder before a show you've saved.

📊 Analytics & tracking

No analytics SDKs.
No crash-reporting that identifies you.
No advertising identifiers.
No third-party tracking of any kind.

👶 Children's privacy

AirshowWorld is rated 4+ and contains no objectionable content. Because we collect no personal data, the app is safe for users of all ages.

⚖️ Your rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Since AirshowWorld does not collect or store personal data on our servers, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete on your behalf. You remain in full control:

Remove all local data by deleting the app.
Manage iCloud-synced favourites from your device's iCloud settings.
Revoke Calendar or Notification permissions anytime in iOS Settings.

📋 Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, note significant changes within the app. Continued use of AirshowWorld after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
