Frequently asked questions

Do I need a Brickset account to use the app?
No. You can browse the full BrickHeadz catalog and track your collection on-device right away. Connecting a Brickset account in Settings is optional and lets you sync your collection with Brickset.
Why does the app ask for camera access?
The camera is used only for the barcode scanner, so you can point it at a LEGO set's barcode to find that set instantly. It is never used for anything else, and no images are stored or uploaded.
Where is my collection data stored?
Your collection is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData. If you connect a Brickset account, your Brickset login is kept securely in the iOS Keychain.
Where does the set information come from?
Set details and images are provided by Brickset, the LEGO set database. The app connects to the Brickset API over a secure HTTPS connection to fetch this data.
How do I reset my data?
Open Settings inside the app and use the “Reset data” option. This clears your locally stored collection from the device.
